What Is The Palm Zone?
The Palm is the part of Therme where everything suddenly calms down. No slides screaming in the background, no wave pool roaring every few minutes — just a huge thermal pool under a retractable glass roof, palm trees everywhere, soft music and that slow, holiday pace people secretly want from a spa day.
You drift from the main indoor–outdoor pool to smaller mineral pools, lean back on hydromassage beds, grab a drink at the pool bar, maybe wander out to the terraces or the beach area when the weather’s good. Same 33°C thermal water as the rest of the complex, same warm indoor air (around “I can walk around in just a swimsuit and I’m fine” level), but the mood is completely different from Galaxy.
By design, The Palm is an adults’ oasis. The official line is 14+ — with one exception: babies under 3 can enter with a parent. Everyone else between 3 and 13 stays in Galaxy. So you mostly see couples, friends, and people just stretched out on loungers staring at the ceiling full of palm leaves.

It’s lively. It’s not a whisper-only wellness area. If you’re coming with kids or people who get bored easily in traditional spas, Galaxy is the safe choice.
Age Rules in The Palm
The age rules are pretty simple once you see how the place is set up:
- The Palm is mainly 14+ – it’s meant as an adults’ oasis, calmer and more relaxed
- Babies under 3 can enter The Palm with a parent (with proof of age), usually using swim diapers
- Children aged 3–13 stay in the Galaxy zone only and aren’t allowed to use The Palm or Elysium
- Elysium (the next level up) is also 14+ and includes access to both The Palm and Galaxy
So if you’re planning a quieter day without kids running around, you aim for a Palm (or Elysium) ticket. If you’re coming with older children, Galaxy is where you’ll spend your time — you can still see The Palm from photos and dream about your next “adults only” visit.

Wellness
When you’ve had enough drifting and feel like doing something a bit more “spa”, this is where you go. The Rainforest Sauna wraps you in warm, moist air, and the Mineral Pools give you that heavier, almost silky water that feels different on the skin. It’s quieter, slower, and you come out moving differently than you went in.

Relaxation
This is The Palm doing what it does best. You slide into the Palm Main Pool, find a spot on the hydromassage beds, then maybe wander out to the Sands of Therme Beach or the Palm Outdoor Pool when the weather plays along. Pangea Park, The Island, the Palm Sunrise Terrace and the Palm Relaxation Area are all just different ways of saying: lie down, look at the sky, stay there a while. It’s one big loop of warm water, sunbeds and soft edges.

If you want to keep the “holiday” feeling going, you don’t leave The Palm to eat. You just glide over to The Palm Pool Bar or Sands of Therme Pool Bar and order straight from the water, then step out later for a proper meal at Humboldt Restaurant. Drinks in the pool, food at the table, back to the loungers; the usual quiet rhythm.

Outdoor
Step outside from The Palm and it turns into a small resort. Sands of Therme Beach and Sands of Therme Pool give you that beach-day mood, with the Palm Outdoor Pool right there when you want warm water again. Pangea Park, The Island and the Palm Sunrise Terrace pull you a little away from the main pool — more space, more air, a different view. And when you get thirsty, Sands of Therme Pool Bar is still part of the same circuit.
